She felt the anonymity wrapped around her. A cloak she wore which hid her true self. Underneath it lived and breathed the person the world used to see. She’d worn the cloak for so long that she too had forgotten what that woman looked like. She remembered wanting to wear the cloak so desperately not much more than a decade ago. But now , the cloak weighed heavy on her shoulders, sometimes feeling a burden, a load she wished she could set aside for a while and emerge from inside as the women she was before she was someone’s Mum.
