The one with more generations
OK, so I should be planning or marking! Instead, I have spent 2 evenings on ancestry websites finding my ancestors!
I’ve managed to fill in several missing details today about dates of birth and marriage for several people in my tree. I’m getting close to being able to add my great-grandparents now too, and then I’ll be far enough back to use the census data as a source too, which will be good! I’m tantilisingly close at the moment – the earliest DOB currently is 1904 for my Grandfather. I’m hoping to get some certificates from the General Records Office which should help fill in the next row of names – my Great-great-grandparents. Once I get those, I can tick off item 37 on my 101.
