The one with the new shoots
Finally time to start phone blogging properly. I’ll explain the title first….
The asparagus planted last year has started to show through the soil at last!
Three spears, each around 4cm tall, so far but it’s a start. Spent yesterday at
RHS Harlow Carr. A great day out…. The garden was lovely, we had afternoon tea
at Bettys, and we found our first geocache! Today’s plan is to each the F1, some
time in the garden, s spot of sewing and then roast lamb for dinner. In essence,
the perfect Spring weekend! Easter holidays are here at last, too, so there will
hopefully be more geocaching, more sewing and more gardening updates soon…
